Who is behind LUAMIRA?
Welcome, I’m Amelie, and I created LUAMIRA because it’s something close to my heart.
The name LUAMIRA brings together the initials of my two daughters with the words Lua (“moon”) and Mira (“to see”, “to marvel”). LUAMIRA is my contribution to a more human, more meaningful digital world. It is also a legacy project, inspired by my father, a philosopher and musician, someone who could open worlds with his thoughts.
Those evenings at our dinner table, where ideas were shared, laughed about and explored, were my very first “events”. They shaped my love for culture, for people and for genuine connection.
With LUAMIRA, I want to give mothers the chance to fill their evenings with meaning, connection and ease again, no matter where they live or how full their daily life is.
For almost 20 years, I have worked as an event manager, organising experiences all around the world: from Buenos Aires to Kyoto, from beer gardens to big stages, from pharmaceuticals to automotive. I’ve seen how inspiring it is when people resonate with one another and how enriching the exchange between cultures can be.
But I also learned that the external setting isn’t what truly makes an event remarkable. It’s the people and the energy that arises when participants feel inspired and seen.

The idea behind Luamira
How do I know so well how important a place like Luamira is? Because I’m a mum to two wonderful girls myself.
When I became a mother in 2019, a completely new chapter of my life began. Quiet evenings at home in a small village replaced nights out with friends, theatre visits or concerts. Sleeping children, silence and a calendar that held almost nothing after 8 pm - that became my new rhythm.
I always wanted to become a mom, I chose it wholeheartedly and I love my children deeply. But still, I missed inspiring encounters in the evenings, meaningful conversations, new impulses and simply the feeling of being myself again, not just ich selbst "Mom".
And I knew I wasn’t the only one who felt this way.
That’s exactly why I created Luamira .
